Founded in the French Alps in 1908...
Paraboot is a family-run company on its fourth generation of bootmakers. Named for the Brazilian port of Para, where Paraboot source their rubber to this day, the company is committed to using high-quality materials for all their shoes that are sewn in France. We scoured the brand's archives to find the Milly Marche boot and brought it back as a J.Crew exclusive after being out of circulation for years. Inspired by the more casual shoes of their Italian neighbors across the Alps, these rugged boots are made in roughout suede from Chicago's Horween Leather Company (one of the oldest continuously operating tanneries in the U.S.), with a padded glove-leather collar and a waterproof Norwegian welt construction. The result is a great-looking, wear-it-everywhere boot that is built to last for a lifetime.
